At our school the teaching of numeracy is linked strongly to technology. Students use hands-on material to explore all aspects of the Mathematics syllabus. Explicit teaching to whole class, small group and individual students assists in the learning development of each child. The interactive board is used extensively to teach numeracy skills. Our students always participate enthusiastically in these "high tech" lessons. At Tumbulgum, our students love Mathematics. They find it exciting to discover new concepts through games and activities.
